1. What is your Day Job?
I was a journalist for nearly two decades until November. Now, I'm a full-time mom and athlete.
2. Reasons why you Train?
It's cheaper than therapy. Seriously, because I love pushing my limits, testing myself and learning. I also do it to set an example for my daughter, who I hope will pursue her passions in life with strength, resilience and persistence.
3. What BIG Goal Motivates you?
Earning my professional triathlete license.

5. Favorite Accomplishment or Race result?
My favorite accomplishment in life was giving birth to our daughter in 2016. My favorite racing accomplishment so far was completing my first Ironman in Cozumel in 2013.

7. What sports were you involved in before Triathlon?
I ran one terrible marathon in 2004.
8 . What's your favorite pre race Dinner?
Grilled chicken, sweet potato, green beans
9. Post race splurge?
FroYo with ALL the toppings and caramel sauce!!

Three - Tri bike, road bike, mountain bike
